The countdown begins

This means its time to get myself and Sarah ready for our appointment which is four months away. At first we were bummed it was so far out but now we are happy its that far out. It gives us enough time to save money for a 2 cycle plan and loose weight. I know this is something that needs to be done.

I have struggled with my weight since I was little. I never knew what it was like to be at a healthy weight growing up and growing up in a Mexican household with yummy food all the time and everywhere did not make it any easier. So weight has been a struggle. I have been on diet yo-yo for what seems like forever. Well, im tired of being on this train. I need to change for myself, us and the soon to be family we want. I want to go into this next IVF cycle feeling better with myself and feeling healthy. We tried to loose weight for our first IVF and I lost 10 pounds but I gained it all back with the dang bloat and meds. This time around I want to go into this IVF even more prepared.

This weekend is going to be super busy we are cleaning Sarah's moms house and saving every bit of money we get from that and in the next couple of weeks were going to have a garage sale. All proceeds go to our IVF fund! Just going to keep going and saving and having fun :)

Hope all is well!

That's amazing that you are focusing on yourself right now. It's never easy to change your lifestyle, but again, you are both so strong and I have no doubt you will succeed in whatever you set your mind to!!!
I also want to take the time to really thank you for your kind words on my last post. I feel so guilty that I feel this way, but I just can't seem to snap out of it. I just wish I knew that everything was OK.

Time heals all wounds:) I agree with your decision to take some time off... after my first IVF BFN we waited 4 and a half months before trying again with our frosties. It really gave me time to heal from what I consider a loss and prepare ourselves for the crazy train ride again:) Sounds like we may be doing transfers around the same time this Fall so hopefully we will be cycle buddies!!

Ryann, We feel good getting ourselves back to normal. Its amazing how an IVF cycle can take a toll on you emotionally and physically.

baubucho, you are right time heals all wounds. We are going to be living our lives as normal as possible without thinking of anything about IVF. We will have our first appt in October so I think we prob. wont get the okay to start until November because we have to do pre-cycle testing! I am SUPER excited!!!
